Normal operating temperature and warmth

Devices equipped with Rubidium Oscillator options will generate significantly more warmth than units without these options. This is normal, expected behavior and remains well within the device’s specified operating parameters.

Install and operate the device within the published temperature and humidity specifications listed in the product documentation. Operating within specification is expected and will not impact timing performance.

Timing issues are rarely caused by temperature or humidity when devices are operated within specification. If timing performance is outside expectations, it is typically related to reference source, signal, or configuration conditions rather than normal operating warmth.
