The PCIe-GPS does not acquire satellite lock.

Antenna requirement

PCIe-GPS requires a pre-amplified antenna. Use the supplied antenna. The existing product guidance warns that a passive antenna can damage the receiver module.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Confirm the supplied pre-amplified antenna is connected.
  2. Place the antenna with an unobstructed view of the sky and allow time for the first fix.
  3. Inspect the coaxial cable and connectors for damage or shorts.
