Symptoms

Symptoms vary by configuration and environment.

Causes
Suggested solutions or troubleshooting steps
  1. In WinDiscovery, verify the selected time zone, DST settings, and whether the device is set to display UTC or local time.
  2. Check inputs, cabling, and network connectivity.
  3. Restart and re-test after each change to isolate the cause.
Fix
  1. Verify whether the device is meant to output UTC or local time.
  2. Check device time zone and DST settings (WinDiscovery or device interface).
  3. If you are viewing time on a PC, confirm the PC time zone/DST settings since it may be converting UTC to local.
Tip

NTP servers typically serve UTC, clients handle local time conversion.
